Who reviews the content?
Dr. Rex Hoang does. He graduated from the University of Pennsylvania School of Dental Medicine and has cared for patients in Washington, DC since 1990, with fellowship training in implant and laser dentistry. He reviews each page against what he sees in the chair every day, so the advice matches how care actually works in our office.
How is it checked for accuracy?
Before a page goes live, Dr. Hoang reads it and asks three things. Is it clinically correct? Is it clear? Is it useful to the person reading it? If a claim can't be supported, it doesn't go on the page.
How often is it updated?
Dentistry changes, and old advice can become wrong. We revisit pages as clinical guidance shifts, and every article shows when it was last updated so you can see how current it is.
Information, not a diagnosis
Our pages explain options in plain language, including the trade-offs, and leave the decision with you. They are general information and don't replace an in-person exam. If something here doesn't match what your own dentist told you, we're happy to talk it through. Call us at (202) 333-9282.
