child-476507_640When you walk into DC Dental Spa, you will immediately notice our warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere. You’ll be greeted with a smile by our caring staff, and you will likely see a few of our youngest patients waiting for their appointments in our comfortable waiting area. We take great care to create a friendly, happy atmosphere for for our young patients so they feel right at home when they are in our office.

We keep smiles on kids’ faces by teaching them the best ways to take care of their gums and teeth, and we show all our young patients how to properly floss and brush to prevent problems like tartar and decay build-up. We talk to them about preventing cavities, choosing foods that will boost their oral health and adopting good, healthy habits that will keep their smiles healthy and beautiful for life.

“Dr. Hoang was engaging and genuine, he was very helpful and explained everything to us. He actually talked with our son and told him what was going on in a way he could understand. It definitely makes him feel like he’s more a part of his oral care.”

– Sawyer, Georgetown, DC

When Sawyer and his wife Allison brought their son in for his first dental appointment at DC Dental Spa, they felt it was a natural fit. “Our son was relaxed and comfortable here. They explain to the kids exactly what’s happening.”

Dr. Hoang did a dental exam for their son and talked with him about how to properly brush and floss his teeth. With an excellent checkup and no cavities, their son was further motivated to properly care for his smile.

“They make the kids feel really special, but best of all, he loves coming to the dentist and taking care of his teeth, which will help him feel better about doing it in the future. We’re really grateful to have found Dr. Hoang and DC Dental Spa!”

Bringing your child to DC Dental Spa for twice-yearly check ups is important. During these regular office visits, we talk to your child about good dental health and perform a comprehensive cleaning and examination. Seeing us regularly may save your child from costly dental work later in life and give him or her the tools needed to maintain optimal oral health.

We understand that many young patients are nervous or a bit afraid of visiting the dentist, but we make every effort to make their visits as pleasant as possible. We want them to leave the office knowing that the dentist and our staff are their friends who will help them reach the best oral health possible. We do that by treating all our young patients with respect, patience and kindness. All procedures are explained in an age-appropriate manner, and we take the time to answer any and all questions they ask. By building trust in this way, we help set your child on the path to a lifetime of good oral health.
